Hello!
I am Kersti, a 27-year-old female artist from Estonia.
I have been drawing my whole life. I have never been in an art school, therefore I don’t have a lot of influence from other people regarding my creativity. I have always just done what felt right and what I enjoyed, I am discovering my creativity in my own way. Drawing is my therapy. My creations are my essence in its purest form. I draw the way I see and experience the world. The world outside and within me. The pictures I make talk about fantasy worlds, nature, connection, flow, self-development. About the things we see and do not see, but feel. They always tell a story.
I use a lot of layering and patterns. I use markers, pens, pencils and I also make acrylic paintings and digital drawings. I love different kinds of crafts and mediums, such as punch needle embroidery, crocheting, woodworking, cooking, journaling, miniature making.
For the last few years I have traveled around the world with my little backpack, capturing everything I learn and experience into my drawings.
I started painting murals when I was 18 when I had to do a project for finishing high school and it was the thing that I wanted to do the most. After that during the past 8 years I have painted multiple murals around Estonia, interior and exterior. Most of them have
been around 3 meters tall. I have used a ladder, but I would like to try working at higher heights also. My last wall painting was a 24 meters long fence for a playground. It is inspired by living in Peru in the Amazon jungle.
